Payments

Full payment should be made at the time of registration or at least within 7 days. Registration fees that remain unpaid prior are at the risk of automatic cancellation by the organiser.

All fees are payable in GBP (£) as indicated on the registration form and invoice, by credit card or bank transfer. Payment is required prior to the event. Payment via Paypal is recommended.

BETA Members

BETA Members must have a fully paid-up membership for the period leading up to and covering the duration of the event. If you have yet to pay your subscription fees for the period 2023/24 or need support, please contact payments@betauk.com

Cancellation policy

Participants can cancel their attendance at the event at any time. Cancellations must be made in writing to events@betauk.com. The following fees will apply. Substitutions are allowed.

Book With Confidence 

If you’re sick with COVID-19 symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the event, you can cancel by emailing our events manager at helenleigh@betauk.com You’ll be asked to verify this with documentation, and at that point, a full refund will be rewarded.

If an attendee has booked and then chooses not to attend, the place can be reallocated to another person without any administration fee.

Visitor Refund Policy

We fully expect to hold a safe and enjoyable Awards Ceremony on 22 November 2023. However, in the event of cancellation due to government restrictions, your registration fees will be transferred/offered as a credit towards a future BETA event.

If requesting a refund due to changing travel arrangements, and travelling from a country which is put on the UK government quarantine list within 14 days of the event, a full refund will be rewarded.

Your registration

BETA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject an application without assigning a reason and applications will only be considered for acceptance from applicants whose products are, in the opinion of BETA, compatible with the theme of the event.

Your accepted registration entitles you to access to the event for which you have registered. Any other costs associated with your attendance shall be borne solely by you, and BETA shall have no liability for such costs.

By participating in the event you acknowledge and agree to grant BETA the right at the event to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to BETA includes but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.

You acknowledge and agree that BETA, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any aspects of the event, including but not limited to, the event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.  Event content shall be recorded by BETA and will be accessible to paid Participants.

BETA will not accept liability for individual delays or system failures during the event and in such circumstances then no refund will apply.

BETA, suggest that attendees purchase travel insurance to cover pre-paid, non-refundable travel expenses, such as airfare / other transport and event registration fees in the event of travel delays caused by severe weather; illness or family emergencies; and other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from attending.
