With the exception of the two consumer voted categories, these awards are judged by a panel of impartial industry experts.
Our panel come together to meet in person to score, debate and discuss each entry in the competition.  Each category has a specific judging criteria and process that you must adhere to

Eligibility

Entries are invited from UK based BETA members and UK based non-member companies.

Organisations can enter one or more award category with either the same or another project as appropriate.

Organisations that have been successful in winning a particular category for three consecutive years will not be permitted to enter. These organisations will be listed in the Hall of Fame. A period of one year must pass before that organisation is eligible to enter again.

Judging Criteria

Each award category has clear judging criteria.  Select the relevant category to find out the criteria for that particular award. The Judges will score the entry out of ten on each of the criteria elements.  There is a 2,000 word limit on each entry (with the exception of the public voted categories).

NEW for 2018 we have added in a little Dragon’s Den style magic which enables you to submit a short 1 minute 30 second video to tell the judges in person why you deserve to win in your chosen category.

Our panel of impartial experts have been put together based on their expertise which covers, education, marketing, technology, sustainability and more.  To find out about this year’s panel, you can Meet the Judges here
