‘As one of the few travel bloggers who’s managed to make their site pay, he’s one to watch.’ The Guardian
‘One of Britain’s finest travel bloggers.’ Steve Keenan, former deputy travel editor, The Times
I’ve been been travelling in style on a budget for the last 7 years, blogging about my adventures at the BudgetTraveller.
The focus of his blog has always been to show people how to travel in style on a budget. So whether it is finding a luxury hostel in Madrid or a budget boutique hotel in Amsterdam, finding the best cicchetti in Venice or what unique cultural experiences you can discover in Berlin on a tight budget– it is all there in one blog.
I’ve been featured by the New York Times, Lonely Planet, Guardian, Vanity Fair & National Geographic.
I won the Travel Blogger & Vlogger of the Year award at the inaugural Travel Media Awards last year and have been nominated again in this year’s awards and also for the Travel Blogger of the Year award for National Geographic Traveller.
As storytelling and travel planning is becoming more visual, I focus a lot on Instagram and find it a fantastic medium to tell stories about the places I visit. I’ve been recently featured by Harpers Bazaar and La Reppublica as one of the top 20 Instagrammers in the world to follow.
